We accept original reporting, personal narratives, and community-focused writing. Stories should be at least 500 words.

Request coverage of an issue, event, or ongoing situation in the Imperial Valley — or nominate a person, group, or local business for an interview or feature.
Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee coverage, but it helps us decide what to look into. You may choose to be named, anonymous, or not contacted.
