Wasupwu Productions invited People’s Press to come out and cover their NFL Draft Party and Comedy Show on April 26, and our longtime stand-up comedy aficionado was happy to do it.

He heard from five local comedians—Ruben “El Chino”, Victor “Vic” Vasquez, Luis Noriega, MC Raider, and Richard Barba—who spoke on marriage, racial differences, and hilarious -isms of the age. From the looks of it, it sounded like every joke landed and the crowd was loving it. Because Justin had such a great experience at La Fonda, he said that although this was his first live comedy show, it certainly won’t be his last.

Massive shoutout to Juan and Helen Molina for founding this tight-knit organization, and to all the household comedians out there who make the weight of this world feel just a little bit lighter 💚
